The Flappers and Vamps here the type of women to see how far they could go and get and then they would stop. In America, there was a controversy on how people felt about flappers. Some people saw it as an eyeopening experience for young women because they saw how women were going to change and how much more they could do. Interesting account of the women of the time period! Great to see an in depth account of the way that women interacted in this time period and how they shifted society.
It was a smart way of expressing what they felt so they won't be seen as a typical women. To show more standards for women
Interesting insight on the role of Flappers in society, but it's kinda crazy to think that society nowadays isn't that different that back then. The flappers is just another example of how history repeats itself.
I love the photo you included because it was very helpful in understanding the style of this time period. You did a great job of including the dialogue from the documentary. I think the slang of "flappers and vamps" is an important part of the developing culture at the time. Also, I think that it is interesting that the two groups were categorized based on their willingness to be adventurous by breaking laws and social norms.
