Crazy Horse had a shy, modest, and even lonesome character. He would never allow any to take any photos of him, so the only evidence found of his existence is through paintings and stories. Furthering his mystical background, no one was even quite sure when Crazy horse was born. The closes range historians have is between 1840 to 1845. Later in 1876, Crazy horse would become an Indian War hero at the Battle of Little Bighorn. Acting as a decoy, his role was crux towards one of the most important victories for the Native Americans.
It seemed to me that Crazy Horse was portrayed as the Native American version of General Custer, as both had become famous for their ridiculous acts of bravery, banking on the edge of outright stupidity. But with this immense courage, they led armies and became top generals in their respective armies.
